1) A house of prayer for everyone is meant to embody Isaiah 56:7 "Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make
them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For My house
shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Practically, it means we intentionally set aside a time and a place, as a
corporate body, to encounter the Lord, know his heart, and ask of Him. Additionally, and just as importantly, it means we
develop ourselves individually to live in his presence continuously.
2) Morning Prayer -- Mon-Fri 5:30am. The purpose of our daily morning prayer meetings is to consecrate each day in
devotional prayer by adoring Him and receiving His mercy (Lamentations 3:23) and loving kindness (Psalm 143:8).
Wednesday Evening Prayer -- Wed 7:00pm. The purpose of this mid-week prayer meeting is to come together to revive
our spirits through intimate worship and minister to God's heart through corporate intercession.
Midnight Oil -- Fri 10:30pm. During this weekly prayer meeting we come to honor the King and wait for Him to speak
prophetically to our hearts, that we would burn with desire (Luke 24:32) to seek His presence and usher in revival in this
area. We intercede and minister to one another in a practical and prophetic spirit.
Marveling Place -- Sat 6:30pm (location rotates b/w HOPE, GCC, KPCR). The purpose of this weekend prayer meeting is
to gather as local churches in the body of Christ to love Him extravagantly through worship, meditation and intercession.
We also contend for the outpouring of His Spirit over our families, churches, schools, country and the nations.
3) While the morning prayer meetings are set in a group context, these sessions are usually for the individual seeker to
have a devotional time, particularly before the busyness and activity of the day get underway. Wednesday evening prayer
meetings, Midnight Oil, and Marveling Place are all corporate prayer times where the entire group is encouraged to engage
in Spirit-led worship and intercession together. Midnight Oil is geared towards youth and young adults (those who can stay
awake!), with an emphasis on hearing the heart of God. Marveling Place is a collective church body, mainly comprised of
brothers and sisters from HOPE, GCC, and KPC Rockville, who come to marvel at the Son of God and His works.
